The Baer family has been in the car business since 1946. Budd Baer Inc opened here in Washington in 1975, and we have been family owned ever since.
We are not a corporate dealership that happens to have a zip code here. Our kids go to these schools. Our neighbors coach these teams and run these fire halls.
Budd Baer believes we are part of something bigger. Budd Baer Cares is how we show up for it.

Two hundred and four pairs of shoes and socks, boxed up and carried into City Mission by people who work here.
What we get behind
Youth sports and activities. School teams and clubs. Educational programs. The Washington County Food Bank. Animal rescues. Our library system. The people already doing the work, who just need a hand with the costs.
We get more requests than we can say yes to, and that is genuinely the hardest part of this. But every one of them gets read by somebody here, not a form letter.
Youth sports, music programs, robotics, scouting, school clubs. If it keeps the cost down for families, we want to hear about it.
Our team gives money and shows up to help distribute. And most people do not know the library is the hub for anyone who needs help — a safe place to learn, build a resume, look for work, or email family.
Pet pictures with Santa, adoption drives, and whatever else the shelters need hands for.
Adopt-A-Highway, Save Canonsburg Lake, and recycling just about everything that moves through our shop — oil, cardboard, scrap metal, even the cans.
We buy local, and our local partners give our customers discounts right back. It goes both ways.

Our Share the Love hometown charity
To create a community where every individual, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to thrive, contribute and be valued.
Every year Share the Love lets each Subaru retailer pick a hometown charity alongside the national ones. Ours is Always B Smiling.
Dean and Kristin Huibregtse started it in 2020 as a living legacy of their son Bennett, whose smile is now all over everything the organization does. They run inclusive programs for children and young adults with disabilities and health challenges, and for their families — and they do not charge the families a dime.
